Description:
As a Software Engineer, Infrastructure, you will be responsible for enabling large-scale compute efforts and enhancing software infrastructure to support seamless research experiences.
Your role will involve building and managing tools to scale code from single hosts to large GPU clusters.
You will debug distributed systems, enhance logging and tracing stacks, and design improvements for managing secrets, configurations, and stateful components.
Collaborating with team members, you will prototype software stack additions, enhance performance in open-source code, and design resilient software solutions.
Your work will ensure infrastructure resilience and reliability, enabling other engineers to work more effectively.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python, bash, and other scripting languages.
Passion for creating good tooling for developers to interact with infrastructure in an automated way.
Experience in DevOps and making informed decisions about various approaches and technologies.
Strong attention to detail, emphasizing robustness and correctness in scientific infrastructure.
