The role involves contributing to a Rust-based cloud-native analytical database system for multimodal data, particularly time-series data, with an emphasis on cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include setting up production deployment environments with a focus on reliability, scalability, and observability.
The position requires ownership of the deployment experience from local development to CI, staging, and production.
The role also involves designing deployment solutions that range from fully managed to bring-your-own-cloud and on-premise.
Troubleshooting at all levels, from networking to operating systems and application code, is a key part of the job.

Requirements:

Candidates should have an ownership mindset and a helpful attitude with a curious mind.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, site reliability, or platform engineering roles is required.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, is essential.
Significant production experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code is necessary.
Proficiency in designing deployment architectures tailored to diverse customer environments is required.
Candidates must be able to work with a Rust codebase.
Great communication skills in English are essential, as the role involves working in a tight-knit remote team.
