Remote Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Description:

• Blend is seeking a Software Engineer for their Infrastructure Team in Mexico City.
• The team is focused on solving internal engineering challenges related to processing loans for financial services firms.
• The role involves collaborating with platform development and security teams to understand their needs and enable them to own the lifecycle of their services.
• Responsibilities include working on an internal service deployment tool on Kubernetes and building tools for developer productivity.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about self-service infrastructure, service mesh, performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in building high-quality production software.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language like Go or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Interest in testing, automation, container orchestration, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams.
