Fathom is hiring a Software Engineer (Infrastructure) to work remotely in the USA, who is passionate about intelligent automation and can operate with autonomy.
The role involves designing, deploying, and monitoring all operational aspects of the platform.
Responsibilities include ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Fathom’s platform, developing internal tools for machine learning and software engineers, maintaining internal development configurations, and collaborating with product and engineering teams on strategic projects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of software engineering experience in a company or production setting.
Relevant experience in developing backend, integrations, data pipelining, and infrastructure projects in a production environment is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and first principles thinking are essential.
A solid understanding of computer science principles, including algorithms, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and logic, is necessary.
Hands-on experience with backend coding and systems design using best practices in a company setting is required.
Experience in building, controlling, and monitoring secure cloud-based platforms is needed.
Candidates should have the ability to select and implement appropriate tools for tasks and to drive technical infrastructure decisions.
Effective communication and exceptional collaboration skills are mandatory.

The position offers a salary range of $100,000 USD to $175,000 USD, along with company equity.
