The Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Platform will help architect, design, and develop projects aimed at making Monarch's infrastructure reliable and cost-efficient.
Responsibilities include leading the development of software solutions to enhance cloud efficiency, influencing platform features, providing infrastructure support, and participating in an on-call rotation.
The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to mentor team members and establish engineering best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience and enthusiasm for learning about new infrastructure products, features, and strategies.
A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a large-scale production web infrastructure is required.
Proficiency in Python and/or Go is necessary.
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required.
Candidates must have experience maintaining and building AWS infrastructure.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as ECS, EKS, and/or Kubernetes is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
