Description:
JupiterOne is a cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) platform company that provides visibility and security into an organization's entire cyber asset universe.
The platform uses graphs and relationships to create a contextual knowledge base for cyber asset operations, allowing teams to discover, monitor, understand, and act on changes in their digital environments.
The core of JupiterOne consists of data integrations that gather data from various external services and systems, functioning as ETL packages for data collection.
As a Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you will oversee the data integration execution environment, including infrastructure management for scheduling, execution runtime, and instrumentation of integrations.
The Integrations team develops shared runtime libraries to ensure consistent and high-performance executions.
The data platform collects and processes billions of entities and relationships, with the Integrations services playing a crucial role in the data pipeline.
The role involves developing and improving enterprise-level software solutions, ensuring system observability and reliability, contributing to architectural decisions, and potentially leading a team.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to mentor others, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Requirements:
You will deliver and expand the integration suite by leveraging external API documentation, customer feedback, and industry standards to build new integrations for various Cybersecurity use cases.
You must identify opportunities to create reusable components and streamline data collection processes.
You are required to design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed cloud services that drive integrations and align with business objectives.
You will manage communication and expectations around organization-wide commitments, their progress, and roadmap to delivery, including both internal stakeholders and customers.
You need to design and develop data integration APIs for use by internal systems and external customers.
Participation in an on-call rotation and incident response process is expected, with a focus on continuously improving processes and tools.
You should thrive in a startup environment, proactively addressing problems and tackling complex customer requirements.
Proven experience innovating in complex enterprise environments and delivering solutions for large customers is essential.
You must be passionate about leveraging monitoring tools like New Relic for optimal performance and anticipating internal admin tooling requirements.
Being approachable, open-minded, and a collaborative team player is important, along with the ability to speak up when necessary.
Proven expertise in integrating with 3rd party systems, APIs, and services is required.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices is essential for continuous improvement.
