Description:

  • Tinybird is seeking a Software Engineer for Integrations to develop and maintain their Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and core internal integrations.
  • The role involves designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between the Tinybird platform and third-party systems.
  • Candidates should have extensive experience as a backend engineer, particularly in building complex data integrations and pipelines.
  • The company uses Python and C++, but is open to other languages.
  • Clear communication skills are essential, as the role requires creating documentation, guides, and occasional blog posts.
  • A bias for action, iteration, and delivery is crucial, with an emphasis on speed in business and technology.
  • The ideal candidate should be autonomous, able to engage the right people when context is lacking, and focus on what truly matters.
  • Technical decision-making that impacts the product is expected, along with clear communication of those decisions.
  • Bonus points for familiarity with all layers of the stack, low-level ClickHouse knowledge, and a collaborative approach across departments.
  • Participation in the on-call team is required to understand the product and client challenges.
  • Ideally, candidates should be located in Europe, preferably within a few time zones of CET.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in designing and building data integrations and connectors in other SaaS data platforms.
  • Strong backend engineering skills are required, with a focus on building complex data integrations and pipelines.
  • Clear communication skills are necessary for documentation and collaboration in an asynchronous work environment.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a bias for action, iteration, and delivery in their work.
  • The ability to work autonomously and engage with the right stakeholders when context is lacking is essential.
  • Candidates should be capable of making technical decisions that impact the product and communicating them effectively.
  • Familiarity with all layers of the stack is a plus, along with low-level ClickHouse knowledge.
  • Participation in the on-call team is mandatory.
  • Candidates should ideally be located in Europe, preferably within a few time zones of CET.

  • The salary range for this position is €62,000 - €109,000 a year, including cash compensation and stock options.
