Everbridge is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join the Auckland engineering team.
The role involves developing an innovative solution for generating Travel Risk Intelligence using AI to enhance the safety of traveling employees.
The technology stack is diverse, and candidates are encouraged to apply even if they have experience in technologies other than React, Java, and Node.js.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and APIs.
The role also involves assisting in technical discussions to enhance architecture, scalability, and performance.
Participation in code reviews is expected, along with learning from and providing constructive feedback.
Engineers will assist in investigating and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of web applications and APIs.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
A strong foundation in software development principles and practices is necessary.
An interest in solving complex problems that help keep people safe is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Familiarity with large codebases or enterprise-grade software is a plus.
Experience with or an interest in AI technologies is preferred.
