Description:
As a Software Engineer Intern at Joko, you will develop new features, products, and improvements to enhance the user experience across various Joko products, including the mobile app, browser extensions, and web services.
You will have full ownership of your projects, managing their development from the software design and architecture phase to deployment in production.
Your responsibilities will include software design, where you will challenge the Product team's vision and translate it into a viable architecture for your projects.
You will implement your software designs across the entire technical stack and be responsible for releasing your projects and monitoring their impact on users in collaboration with the Product team.
You will also help improve the Engineering team's processes by proposing new methods and developing internal tools.
Requirements:
You must possess strong analytical skills, be creative, and enjoy solving complex problems.
You should be a fast learner, comfortable in various technical environments, and able to quickly learn new programming languages, frameworks, or practices.
Proficiency in at least one programming language is required, along with the ability to write flawless code that adheres to best practices.
A solid understanding of core computer science concepts, such as algorithms and data structures, is essential.
You should be tech-savvy, keeping up with emerging technologies and trends in the domain.
You must demonstrate efficiency, being fond of productivity tools and capable of delivering projects on time with multiple stakeholders.
Attention to detail is crucial, as you should be able to spot flaws effectively.
An entrepreneurial mindset is desired, along with a willingness to embrace challenges, welcome feedback, and strive for excellence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, enabling you to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; mastering French is not necessary.
You should be a graduate student in Computer Sciences at an engineering school or university.
