Description:
DefenseStorm is seeking a paid Software Engineering Intern to work remotely.
The intern will gain hands-on experience by building new features for the GRID Active Risk Assessment Platform.
The role involves collaborating with senior engineers to develop scalable and user-friendly solutions using modern web technologies.
Interns will have the opportunity to enhance their skills in both backend and frontend development while working with a fast-moving Agile team.
Responsibilities include developing new full-stack features in support of the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test scalable cloud-native solutions, and writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code along with automated tests.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with a compiled object-oriented backend programming language and a modern front-end framework.
A solid understanding of microservice architecture and distributed application design is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
Applicants should possess a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a 4-year STEM degree program.
