Description:
- The Software Engineer Intern will assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions.
- They will collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance existing products and features.
- The intern will work with stakeholders in India and the Philippines to ensure smooth product development.
- Participation in code reviews, debugging, and adherence to best practices will be required.
- Supporting integration of third-party APIs and internal tools is part of the role.
- Involvement in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Maintaining documentation for software changes and processes.
- Keeping updated on the latest technologies and suggesting improvements.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Proficiency in one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, or Django).
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a cross-cultural, distributed team.
