Remote Software Engineer Intern

Description:

• The software engineering intern will work closely with experienced engineers at Branch for 4-6 months, contributing significantly to products and code base.
• Responsibilities include building out functionality for existing and new product lines and platforms like Credit, Wallet, Payments, KYC, Data Platforms, etc.
• Integration with third-party systems such as payment systems, identity providers, and messaging platforms will be part of the role.

Requirements:

• Must have experience building Backend or Android applications beyond toy projects, with real users or open source projects being a plus.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, and data storage is required.
• Proficiency in mainstream languages like Python, Ruby, Java, etc., is necessary.
• Familiarity with various flavors of Unix and commonly used command line utilities is essential.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving initiative, and collaboration skills are key requirements.
• Excitement for working in a distributed team, learning, and contributing to projects is important.
