The Software Engineer Intern will work on meaningful projects within the Analysis, Widgets, and Dashboards Team (AWD) for a 12-week remote internship from June to August 2025.
Interns will implement backend improvements and may engage in full stack development based on their interests.
The role requires collaboration with product managers and designers to build features and deliver client-requested functionalities to production.

Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution in the US or Canada and must return to school after the internship.
Interns must be available for the full 12-week duration of the internship.
Candidates should possess outstanding software engineering talent and the ability to write high-quality object-oriented code.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
A basic understanding of development best practices and experience working in a team is necessary.
Candidates should be driven to explore complex problems from multiple perspectives and be able to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with technologies such as HTTP, REST, web API best practices, Java, Python, React, MySQL, and Kafka is expected.
Proficiency in Linux, basic shell scripting, and a good grasp of systems-level programming is a plus.
Bonus points for specific experience or knowledge of financial data systems.
