Description:

Rad AI is seeking Software Engineering Interns for a summer internship focused on AI in healthcare.
Interns will contribute to core products and features while collaborating with engineers, research scientists, and radiologists.
The internship offers hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle.
The position is fully remote, allowing interns to work from anywhere in the US or Canada, with an option to work in the San Francisco office.
The internship program is designed to provide growth, learning, and the opportunity to impact product development in the healthcare industry.

Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Applicants should have demonstrated software engineering experience through previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, projects, or publications.
Proficiency in industry-standard programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, FastAPI, or equivalent modern languages/frameworks is required.
Knowledge of relational and document-based databases, as well as large-scale data storage paradigms, is necessary.
Familiarity with modern web architecture and best practices is expected.
Candidates must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
A strong enthusiasm for AI applications in healthcare is essential.
