Description:

  • StackAdapt is a self-serve advertising platform specializing in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game ads, and digital out-of-home ads.

  • As a Software Engineer in the Inventory team, you will be involved in the development of the advertising platform, producing production-level code that impacts product success.
  • You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
  • The engineering organization at StackAdapt promotes collaboration and cross-functionality, offering a diverse and flexible culture with dedicated career paths.
  • Responsibilities include designing, improving, and debugging complex, scalable distributed systems, optimizing performance, writing extensible and test-driven code, and participating in technical planning and architectural decision-making.
  • You will collaborate with team members on scalable web architecture, take ownership of projects, and contribute to code and technical spec reviews.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ years of full-time work experience in building highly performant web applications is required.
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails is highly preferred.
  • Experience with a technical project from design to delivery is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems is required.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design teams to create high-impact end-to-end product experiences is essential.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and key-value stores is needed.
  • Experience working on large-scale Ruby on Rails or Go projects is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.) is required.
  • Experience in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is necessary.
  • Experience with creatives, AdTag, or programmatic advertising is a plus.
