Description:
The Software Engineer IV, Platform Engineering position at HackerOne involves working in the Platform Engineering team to drive projects that enhance the reliability, quality, and performance of HackerOne's digital offerings.
Responsibilities include identifying and spearheading new initiatives, making systematic improvements to technical weaknesses in the codebase, and leading significant projects within the team.
The role involves ensuring the seamless performance of all HackerOne's digital offerings, from Bug Bounty to VPN services, and beyond.
The Software Engineer will collaborate closely with Product Engineers to ensure the platform is scalable, well-functioning, and of high quality.
The position requires remote work in the United Kingdom or Ireland, as HackerOne is a digital-first company offering flexibility in time and location.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, GraphQL, React, PostgreSQL, Datadog, and Sumo Logic.
Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to spearhead technical initiatives, align priorities, and garner respect from peers.
Strong project planning abilities, documenting decisions effectively, and influencing at both team and company levels.
Experience mentoring and advocating for architectural enhancements and engineering best practices.
Must be based remotely in the United Kingdom or Ireland and excel in a remote work environment.
