Description:

The Software Engineer at Nava collaborates with fellow engineers to design, review, and build software for government partners and contractors.
Responsibilities include writing and implementing code, performing local testing, writing technical specifications, reviewing pull requests, and providing feedback to teammates.
The engineer participates in standup meetings, sprint demos, and retrospectives, and interfaces with clients to provide project updates and propose solutions.
Required to have 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably building distributed systems, and experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
Must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other requirements include legal authorization to work in the U.S., eligibility for government contracts, and the ability to work from the contiguous United States.

Requirements:

4+ years experience developing software in a team environment, preferably building distributed systems
Experience developing with Java, Kotlin, or Scala
Open to Backend engineers or Full-Stack leaning Backend engineers
Tenacity to dive into problems and iterate in working code
