Remote Software Engineer - Java

• The engineer will conduct technical interviews and identify inconsistencies in architecture/design models, proposing improvements.
• Collaboration with fellow engineers, testers, and managers to enhance team performance is essential.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in relevant areas is required.
• Strong experience with Java 8 or Java 11 is necessary.
• Proficiency in Java Web frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and JEE is required.
• Experience with Spring JDBC or Apache Struts is essential.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB (Oracle DB 12c) is required.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is necessary.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL is required.
• Experience in building frontend applications with JavaScript is necessary.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
• Experience with source control tools (GIT) and unit testing is necessary.
• Additional desired experience includes understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), experience with Docker and Jenkins, and knowledge of protocols like HTTP and serialization formats like JSON and XML.
• Knowledge of Apache Tomcat and React is also desired.
