The role of Software Engineer involves contributing to the technical design and implementation of product features for various products at Veeva.
Software Engineers will work with a smart, highly motivated team to tackle technical challenges associated with a growing customer base.
Responsibilities include leading the design, implementation, and delivery efforts for cloud-based features and products, designing robust and scalable application architecture, writing clean and testable code, creating rich user experiences, ensuring high unit and integration test coverage, and mentoring junior developers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of server-side programming experience in Java.
Hands-on development experience with current open source tools and technologies such as Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Junit, Mockito, Log4J, AspectJ, Tomcat, JMS, and Linux is required.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience with relational databases and mastery of SQL concepts is necessary.
The ability to analyze and review code for performance, security, and scalability is essential.
Experience working in dynamic, agile development environments is required.
Strong mentoring skills with a proven record of improving team performance are sought after.
