The Engineering Team focuses on improving processes, quality, and techniques to produce high-quality software solutions.
The team operates with a DevOps culture and a “you build it, you run it” mentality, favoring a Lean approach to product development.
Responsibilities include partnering with Product/User Experience designers, team collaboration, mentorship, technological evangelism, requirements gathering, design, implementation, pair programming, peer code reviews, and participating in on-call rotation.
Primary technologies used include Java, JavaScript, JavaServer Pages (JSP), Node.js, React.js, GitLab, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Secondary technologies include GitHub, Jenkins, TypeScript, and CI/CD tools/pipelines.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience developing in Java is required.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills are necessary.
Experience in developing web applications, working with databases, and consuming APIs is essential.
Understanding of relevant software development tools, including version control, build processes, and test frameworks, is required.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud computing infrastructures such as AWS or Azure, use of source code repositories like Git, and experience with SQL Server databases.
Candidates should have performance tuning and optimization experience for high-scale systems and experience working with development teams in multiple time zones.
