Description:

Argus Labs is seeking a Junior/Fresh Graduate Software Engineer to join their team remotely in Indonesia.
The company is focused on developing the next generation of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games using their innovative World Engine framework.
World Engine utilizes a sharded rollup blockchain architecture, enabling the use of smart contracts for user-generated content while supporting tens of thousands of concurrent users.
The role does not require prior work experience, as the company is committed to training new hires through their engineering team based in Silicon Valley and Indonesia.
Responsibilities include contributing to the core protocol engineering of World Engine, participating in research engineering efforts, designing and maintaining the web platform product suite, collaborating with team members to implement new features, ensuring code quality, and participating in the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

This position is targeted at fresh graduates; no prior work experience is necessary, but candidates should demonstrate software engineering capabilities through personal projects or competitions.
Candidates should have experience with highly technical personal projects such as compilers, interpreters, P2P systems, or cryptography.
Participation in competitive programming competitions (e.g., OSN, IOI, ICPC) or Capture-The-Flag competitions (e.g., GEMASTIK, DEFCON) is highly valued.
A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from a reputable university is required.
Fluency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
Nice to have: prior experience in Go, blockchain engineering, or applied cryptography.
