Remote Software Engineer (Junior/Mid-level)

Description:

• Symmetry Software is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a junior engineer.
• The ideal candidate should have 2-4+ years of full stack experience with technologies like Angular, React, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in SQL, a strong understanding of relational database design, and exposure to AWS services are required.
• The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and innovate.
• Responsibilities include learning about withholding taxes, regular communication with stakeholders, collaborating with seasoned engineers on new product features, and delivering bug fixes within a scrum team.

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of full stack experience.
• Experience with Angular, React, and exposure to backend development (Java, Spring Boot is a plus).
• Proficiency in SQL and fundamentals of relational database design (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with AWS services is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong work ethic, solid time-management skills, and a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
• Interest in complex product development problems and a collaborative, test-driven environment.
• Experience in turning wireframes and mockups into well-executed code.
• Ability to write well-structured, easily maintainable, and well-documented code.

Benefits:

• The cash compensation for this role is targeted at $110,000/yr to $132,000/yr in Scottsdale.
• Employees based in Scottsdale are expected to work from the office approximately 2-3 days per week.
