Description:
Acquia is seeking a Software Engineer for the DevX team, which focuses on enhancing Developer Experience for building and operating Drupal and Node applications on Acquia Cloud.
The role involves developing and maintaining customer-facing applications and microservices on Kubernetes, ensuring security and quality through CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to document product and development details, participating in backlog planning and SCRUM ceremonies, and providing regular updates on assignments.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a collaborative environment, possess exceptional communication skills, and be skilled at problem-solving and delivering high-quality software.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software development, including designing, building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and microservices.
Experience with Kubernetes application development and microservices architectures is required, with knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, and Golang Operators considered a plus.
Demonstrated production experience in full stack development programming languages such as Golang, PHP, JavaScript, and Node.js is necessary.
Solid Linux OS system management experience (Ubuntu, RHEL, Amazon Linux, etc.) is preferred.
Bonus points for experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform, as well as operational knowledge of Drupal in a production setting.
