Description:

  • The Software Engineer (L3) position at Twilio is part of the Efficiency Engineering team in Services Operations.
  • The role involves reinventing operational processes at Twilio with intelligent, self-service solutions for Customer Support and Operations teams.
  • As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering architecture from design through delivery, across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • You will establish and improve coding patterns, developer best practices, code reviews, continuous integration and deployment pipelines, documentation, and software release processes.
  • The position requires expertise in fullstack Javascript software development, strong knowledge of typed languages, solid computer science fundamentals, and a track record of building APIs and UI experiences at scale.
  • Collaboration with product, program, analytics, and other engineering teams to create world-class experiences for customers and support agents is essential.
  • The technical stack includes Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS, Terraform, Redis, Docker, Linux, Kendra, and MySQL.
  • Responsibilities include living by Twilio's cultural values, developing architectural visions, collaborating with stakeholders, designing technical blueprints, and continuously improving best practices.
  • Qualifications include strong computer science fundamentals, 6+ years of experience in web application development, and experience in creating unit tests.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals and expertise in Javascript full-stack development.
  • 6+ years of experience in building Web applications, preferably using frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience creating unit tests.
