Remote Software Engineer, Lifecycle

Description:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop features that enhance user experience, optimize conversion and retention rates, integrate feedback loops, monitor key metrics, and ensure scalability and reliability of software systems.
• Meet with the Lifecycle engineering team to define the scope and scale of software projects.
• Design and implement scalable applications, web services, and APIs.
• Develop and maintain internal software tools.
• Write technical documents.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to develop user interfaces.
• Develop solutions mindful of the user experience.
• Review and provide feedback on contributions from other engineering team members.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in developing, automating, maintaining, and reviewing frontend and backend code.
• Advanced experience with application development and architecture.
• Understanding of the domain or industry for which the domains are being created.
• Experience collaborating with product and design contributors.
• Willingness to work with colleagues to iterate on proposals and implementation details.
• Experience with Next.js and the Vercel platform is a plus.
