Description:
Collaborate closely with a senior member of the research team on cutting-edge deep learning projects, infrastructure, and tooling.
Implement improvements from research papers to enhance model architecture, training methods, and loss metrics.
Devise and conduct experiments to validate proposed adjustments for solving target problems using LLMs.
Enhance knowledge of LLM fundamentals such as chain-of-thought, reasoning, generalization, hallucination, and grokking.
Perform hyperparameter optimization and contribute to the development of new features for hyperparameter sweeps.
Work with infrastructure engineers to develop monitoring systems and maintenance guides for experiments.
Collaborate with data and product engineers to improve training and evaluation datasets.
Conduct research and development to create LLM models effective in practical applications.
Requirements:
Highly comfortable writing Python code.
Familiar with PyTorch and experienced in training deep neural networks.
Excited to work on and contribute to open-source projects.
Passionate about engineering best practices and maintaining high-quality code standards.
Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively get things done.
