Remote Software Engineer Manager - API Team

Description:

• Verifiable is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the API team, responsible for automating credentialing and provider network management for healthcare companies.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions and 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer.
• They should be proficient in .Net (C#) or similar frameworks, have experience hiring and developing engineering talent, and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, system design, architecture documentation, communication skills, and working within a DevOps environment are essential.
• The role involves collaborating with product managers, setting goals, assigning tasks, reviewing performance, mentoring software engineers, and improving development processes.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer with progressive growth.
• Proficiency in .Net (C#) or similar frameworks.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing engineering talent.
• Experience with owning and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments.
• Capable of deep troubleshooting and discovering root causes of problems.
• Experience creating and documenting system design and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively within and across departments.
• Experience working within a DevOps environment.
• Experience collaborating with product managers/owners on initiative planning & solutioning.
• Excellent organization skills - ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks.
