Description:
Verifiable is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the API team, responsible for automating credentialing and provider network management for healthcare companies.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions and 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer.
They should be proficient in .Net (C#) or similar frameworks, have experience hiring and developing engineering talent, and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills, system design, architecture documentation, communication skills, and working within a DevOps environment are essential.
The role involves collaborating with product managers, setting goals, assigning tasks, reviewing performance, mentoring software engineers, and improving development processes.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutions.
At least 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer with progressive growth.
Proficiency in .Net (C#) or similar frameworks.
Experience hiring, developing, and managing engineering talent.
Experience with owning and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environments.
Capable of deep troubleshooting and discovering root causes of problems.
Experience creating and documenting system design and architecture.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively within and across departments.
Experience working within a DevOps environment.
Experience collaborating with product managers/owners on initiative planning & solutioning.
Excellent organization skills - ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks.
