The role is for a technical Engineering Manager I to lead a growing full-stack engineering team.
The position involves working with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Go, React, GraphQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Amazon Redshift.
The team focuses on measurements to understand the impact and effectiveness of advertising campaigns, utilizing various measurement studies like 1PDA, BLS, ACR, and FTA.
Responsibilities include designing, improving, and debugging complex distributed systems, taking ownership of projects, mentoring interns and junior engineers, and collaborating on scalable web architecture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 1+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails is highly preferred.
Experience with a technical project from design to delivery is required.
A strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience collaborating closely with Product & Design teams to create high-impact product experiences.
Experience with relational databases and key-value stores is essential.
Candidates should have experience working on large scale Ruby on Rails or Go projects.
Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.) is required.
Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is necessary.
Experience with creatives, AgTag, or programmatic advertising is a plus.
