The Software Engineer position focuses on measurements and insights related to advertising campaigns, including various measurement studies like 1PDA, BLS, ACR, and FTA.
Responsibilities include designing, improving, and debugging complex, scalable distributed systems, taking ownership of projects, mentoring interns and junior engineers, and keeping the tech stack updated.
The role involves writing extensible, scalable, and test-driven code, participating in technical planning, collaborating on web architecture, and contributing to code and technical spec reviews.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails is highly preferred.
Experience with a technical project from design to delivery is required.
A strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience collaborating with Product & Design teams to create high-impact product experiences.
Experience with relational databases and key-value stores is required.
Candidates should have experience working on large scale Ruby on Rails or Go projects.
Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.) is necessary.
Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is required.
Experience with creatives, AgTag, or programmatic advertising is a plus.
