Remote Software Engineer, Merchant Experience

Description:

• The Merchant Experience team at Cash App aims to build a network of active merchants that is easily accessible to consumers, enhancing Cash App & Afterpay as preferred payment methods.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting user-friendly platforms for merchants to grow their businesses with Cash App.
• The role involves evolving architecture to accommodate customer and developer growth, solving technical challenges at scale, collaborating with product management, and participating in an on-call rotation.
• The position requires working with Kotlin, Java, JavaScript/Typescript, Buildkite, Kubernetes, Datadog, AWS, HTTP, JSON, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Kafka, and microservices.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of software development experience, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, strong communication skills, and be based in PST due to collaboration with the Australian team.
