Description:
Serve Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer for their Machine Learning Infrastructure team to enhance their ML platform.
The role involves developing and maintaining scalable data processing pipelines for data curation, annotation, search, and ML feature extraction.
Responsibilities include building and improving active learning pipelines, ensuring scalability of training jobs and inference endpoints, and developing orchestration and scheduling systems.
The engineer will collaborate with autonomy engineers to enhance the autonomy data platform, build integrations with annotation providers, and develop infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
The position also requires implementing CI/CD processes, developing monitoring and alerting frameworks, and working with the data team to ensure data quality and availability.
Requirements:
A BS or MS in computer science or equivalent work experience with a focus on data engineering and machine learning is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of industry experience in developing big data processing and/or machine learning pipelines.
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
Proficiency in Python is required.
A solid understanding of system design fundamentals and distributed computing concepts is essential.
