Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure for a partner company based in Canada.
The role involves joining a fast-paced, cross-functional team to build infrastructure for AI-driven robotics.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data processing pipelines for curation, annotation, and ML feature extraction.
The engineer will build and improve active learning systems, ensuring training and inference scalability.
Development of orchestration and scheduling systems for seamless pipeline management is required.
Collaboration with autonomy engineers to enhance data platform features and usability is essential.
The role includes integrating with third-party annotation services for efficient dataset labeling.
Implementation of infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes for platform reliability and agility is expected.
Monitoring performance, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining SLAs for data quality and availability are key tasks.
The engineer will support ML engineers by improving development speed and data accessibility.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 2 years of industry experience in data engineering or ML pipeline development is necessary.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with distributed systems and scalable architecture is essential.
A solid understanding of system design and big data concepts is necessary.
Experience with tools such as Airflow, Terraform, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is a plus.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., BigQuery, Postgres, MongoDB) and vector search systems is required.
Bonus points for experience with Apache Spark, Beam, or Hadoop.
