Description:

  • Join the AI & Cloud Engineering (ACE) Division and MLOps team to develop a flexible platform for exploring new Deep Learning / Machine Learning model architectures.
  • Improve performance, developer efficiency, and deployment velocity for AI training and inference in production environments.
  • Develop software tools for AI software & hardware to support internal and external customers, enhancing the entire AI development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers to build innovative software tools and integrate them into a software platform for customers.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial-grade MLOps products and drive hardware software co-design for AI-specific problems.
  • Work towards developing the best AI inference for advanced driver safety engineers and high-performance compute products.
  • Opportunity to deploy AI software to billions of devices shipped globally by Renesas.
  • Join a team of around 100 software engineers with plans to triple in size in the next three years.
  • Focus on hiring in Tokyo, Beijing, and Singapore with relocation support available for successful candidates living outside these cities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Experience as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer in building end-to-end systems.
  • Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems with proficiency in C/C++, Python, or related programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, database systems, and building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining ML systems with open source tools, containers, Kubernetes, and data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing, benchmarking, continuous integration, and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX.
  • Knowledge of System-on-Chip is a plus.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
