Description:
360Learning is seeking a Software Engineer for mobile development on Android/iOS platforms, with the position being remote in Spain.
The mobile team has grown from 3 to 9 engineers and is focused on creating a best-in-class mobile solution with two native applications.
The role involves tackling complex technical challenges, working with a significant user base of 2.3 million registered users, and maintaining high code quality through modular architecture and systematic peer reviews.
The technical stack includes Kotlin and Swift, with opportunities to work with Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI for new features.
The onboarding process includes discovering the platform, understanding the codebase, and implementing initial tickets within the first month.
By the end of 3 months, the engineer will work on broader functionalities and gain skills on the tech stack.
Within 6 months, the engineer will share best practices, create courses, and implement tools to maintain quality standards.
By 9-12 months, the engineer will onboard new team members and work on complex functionalities and architectural changes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in native mobile development for iOS and/or Android.
A willingness to learn new technologies and apply them in practice is essential.
Candidates should be motivated by the challenges of working in a scale-up environment focused on performance and quality.
Comfort with algorithms is required.
Fluency in English (US/UK) at a B2 level or equivalent is necessary.
Enthusiasm for the company's working environment is expected.
