As a Software Engineer focused on the mobile app, you will drive technical decisions and influence product direction to enhance agricultural sustainability and profitability.
Your work will enable users to manage their businesses effectively from mobile devices, emphasizing shared business logic and a high-quality design system.
Responsibilities include delivering elegant product experiences, teaching best practices for mobile development, learning about agrifinance, and improving mobile architecture and tooling.
Within the first month, you will learn the tech stack, analyze best practices, familiarize yourself with the product, and contribute to team meetings.
By three months, you will collaborate with the Product team, build a Native Module, and ship a new feature for the bookkeeping product.
By six months, you will design improvements to the engineering stack and write about your experiences to enhance Ambrook’s engineering culture.

Requirements:

You must have experience shipping mobile apps for iOS or Android.
A passion for building software that enhances sustainability in natural resource industries, particularly agriculture, is essential.
You should be comfortable tackling ambiguous problems and creating elegant technical solutions.
Bonus qualifications include experience with React Native, building financial products, and familiarity with Typescript, React, and/or Next.js.
