The Software Engineer will primarily focus on mobile development while also contributing to full-stack applications.
This role is crucial in building and launching their iOS mobile app, which is a key component of their student engagement strategy.
Responsibilities include leading the development of the iOS mobile application using React Native, converting and optimizing existing React web applications for mobile platforms, and implementing key features such as daily reflection systems and reward mechanisms.
The engineer will also contribute to the development of various portals, including counselor, parent, and teacher interfaces, and collaborate with the core team to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.
The position involves serving as the technical lead for medium-sized projects and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4-8 years of software development experience.
Strong expertise in React and React Native is required.
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with Node.js is essential.
Familiarity with MUI (Material-UI) components is expected.
An understanding of modern deployment practices, such as Heroku and Vercel, is required.
Candidates should have experience with mobile app development and App Store deployment.
The ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, is necessary.
A demonstrated ability to quickly prototype new ideas and write good test plans is required.
A proven track record of setting measurable goals and consistently meeting them is essential.
