The Software Engineer position is critical to the team's success and involves system analysis, development, testing, debugging, documenting, and installing new systems as well as modifying existing ones.
The role requires active engagement in Scrum processes, collaboration with product management and QA, and adherence to best practices in software development.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality code, running functionality testing, and debugging code.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or four years of equivalent work experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production software.
A strong understanding of the software development life cycle is necessary.
Proven collaboration skills with clear communication are essential.
Candidates should be extremely knowledgeable in C#, ASP.NET (both .NET Framework and .NET Core/Standard, MVC), React, TypeScript (JavaScript), Redis, and Microsoft SQL Server.
The ability to adjust to new situations and escalate issues quickly is required.
Experience working with US-based business teams is preferred.
Excellent written and communication skills in English are mandatory.
Candidates must be able to work within core US business hours with an Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap.
A quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.
