The role involves working on a Linux kernel-based networking dataplane, userspace networking services, network software on hardware appliances, next-generation firewall functions, flow and log collection systems, and control plane systems.
As a Software Engineer, you will deliver new features, improve performance, and increase scalability of Network Services products.
You will build, deploy, and operate systems on one of the largest edge networks in the world and collaborate with engineers and product managers to solve significant problems.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems.
Systems-level programming experience, particularly in Rust and/or Go, is required.
Expertise in L2, L3, and/or L4 networking protocols is necessary.
Experience with Linux kernel networking primitives such as netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, and network namespaces is essential.
Candidates should have experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend systems.
Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines, from data structuring to efficient querying and data analysis, is required.
Excellent debugging and optimization skills are necessary.
Attention to detail and the ability to solve complex customer problems are important.
Candidates should be able to own solutions end-to-end and drive the design, development, and deployment process.
The ability to work across teams and develop common, sustainable solutions is required.
Candidates should be creative, open-minded, and collaborative problem solvers with a focus on clarity in communication.
