Description:

The Software Engineer position at Vectra involves working on the Vectra AI Platform to build or enhance features that address customer problems.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work on various teams focusing on modern software development such as frontend, backend, and data.
Responsibilities include writing and shipping code daily, contributing to automated testing, collaborating with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers, and identifying the best approaches to problem-solving.

Requirements:

Recent BS, M.S, or Ph.D. graduate (or graduating by Spring 2024) in Computer Science.
Strong applied software development experience with proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (Python, Javascript, or C++ preferred) and data structures.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and experience with a source control system, preferably Git.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of networking and security fundamentals, experience with databases and data management, working knowledge of web technologies, and performance tuning skills.
