Solvd Inc. is looking for a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Developer to enhance and adapt their existing Node.js-based BFF layer as part of the migration from CoreMedia to Amplience CMS.
The role involves ensuring seamless content delivery from Amplience to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and other front-end applications.
Responsibilities include modifying and extending the existing Node.js-based BFF layer, ensuring compatibility with React front-end and SFRA-based implementations, developing and optimizing API interactions, implementing content caching strategies, addressing regional differences, supporting full-page preview functionality, conducting performance tuning, and implementing API security best practices.

Requirements:

Strong Node.js experience with a focus on BFF architecture is mandatory.
Experience integrating headless CMS platforms like Amplience, Contentful, and AEM is required.
Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) – SiteGenesis & SFRA is necessary.
Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture is essential.
Experience optimizing content delivery performance is required.
Hands-on experience with API authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT is mandatory.
Understanding of React and front-end interactions with BFF APIs is necessary.
Optional requirements include experience with full-page preview implementation in headless CMS, prior work with Adobe Scene7 and Marketing Cloud integrations, and knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) techniques for headless CMS.
