Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced software developer with expertise in Node.js and Nest.js.
The position is remote, based in Portugal, and reports to the Software Engineering Manager.
You will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative software products.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, QA analysts, and fellow developers is essential.
Your contributions will drive quality solutions for our customers while mentoring and guiding team members.
Daily responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions primarily using Node.js and Nest.js.
You will mentor development teams to uphold high standards of code quality.
Working with team leaders, product managers, and developers from the discovery phase to solution delivery is required.
You will translate business requirements into clear technical requirements.
Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code is expected.
Developing and maintaining unit tests to ensure reliability is part of the role.
Participation in code reviews and promoting team knowledge-sharing is necessary.
You will create and maintain thorough technical documentation.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
You must have 4+ years of experience in software development with Node.js or TypeScript.
A strong understanding of loosely coupled architectures is necessary.
Proficiency with Git, Linux, and Agile methodologies is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are essential.
Strong communication skills and experience working with remote teams are required, with fluent English being necessary.
Leadership qualities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset are important.
A passion for learning and sharing new skills and technologies is expected.
Knowledge of React.js, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures is a plus.
