Description:
Grafana Cloud is an observability platform integrating metrics, logs, and traces with Grafana, allowing customers to utilize open-source observability software without the burden of managing their own stack.
The Observability department focuses on enabling developers to monitor application health and performance by providing tools for code instrumentation, data ingestion into Grafana Cloud, and visualization.
Remote-first and global company seeking Engineers passionate about data communication and customer experience to join the team.
Responsible for Ingestion Paths, Pipelines, and services for Observability, including projects like App Olly, Kubernetes integration, Agent Management, and FE Olly.
Collaborate with the team to deliver new functionality, contribute to design documents, embrace open-source culture, influence roadmap, participate in on-call rotations, mentor team members, and work closely with other squads in Observability.
Requirements:
Solid experience with Go programming language.
Good understanding of storage solutions, particularly relational databases like MySQL, SQLite, and Postgres.
Deep care for developer and user experience, and product quality.
Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to product shipping independently.
Proficiency in writing clean, robust, and performant software.
Experience mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.
Ability to tackle complex challenges, break them down, and iterate on solutions.
Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks.
Benefits:
Base compensation range in Sweden for this role is SEK 580,938 - SEK 697,125, with actual compensation varying based on level, experience, and skillset.
