Wincent is a team of 120 people, primarily Engineers, Traders, and Quants, focused on high-frequency trading (HFT) with approximately 1% of global crypto trading volume.

The Software Engineer position is within the Over-the-Counter (OTC) team, which specializes in facilitating high-volume cryptocurrency trades for financial institutions and VIP clients.
The role involves using Rust, TypeScript, and AWS to build infrastructure for trading with VIP clients and financial institutions, connecting liquidity aggregators, and improving platform connectivity for various trading scenarios.
Candidates will work alongside top global talent and have the opportunity to make a significant impact by seeing the results of their work immediately after code deployment.
Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate ownership and problem-solving skills, being able to manage their own agenda and deliver results independently.
End-to-end delivery expertise is required, including engineering, system design, monitoring, performance tuning, and low-level optimization, with experience in Rust, TypeScript, AWS, and modern tech stacks.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with business clients to help them implement APIs and integrate with the infrastructure.
A collaborative spirit is necessary, as teamwork and communication are vital to the team's success.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.

The total estimated annual compensation package includes a fixed salary and performance bonuses, ranging from €100,000 to €800,000, with the potential for significant earnings due to low living costs in Slovakia.
Monthly fixed salaries are tailored to experience and seniority, offering above-market rates.
Performance bonuses are paid twice a year, with engineers typically taking home between €40,000 and €70,000 annually based on performance.
