Description:

The position is for a Software Engineer (PHP) in Krakow, within the Krakow Delivery Department at Alpha, offering full-time remote work.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and enhance features based on performance metrics.
Responsibilities include decomposing monolithic architectures, building APIs for integration with external partners, and migrating application environments to AWS.
The engineer will select appropriate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage risks, apply engineering best practices, and help resolve technical design issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have relevant experience in backend engineering.
Knowledge of recent PHP and Symfony versions is required.
Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL, is necessary.
Practical knowledge of decomposing monolithic architectures, clean coding, test-driven development, SOLID principles, and Docker is essential.
Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team are required.
Fluent knowledge of English is mandatory.
Familiarity with layered architecture and CQRS patterns is considered an advantage.
Understanding of Domain-Driven Design principles is a plus.
Hands-on experience with mobile app integrations and designing RESTful APIs for mobile platforms is beneficial.
