Remote Software Engineer, PHP/Laravel

Description:

• The Engineering Team at Loop focuses on agility, consistency, and performance to deliver value to customers.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining web applications, APIs, and lambdas for the Loop product line.
• You will solve complex technical issues for merchants and partners, prioritizing exceptional user experiences.

• Responsibilities include developing automated unit and integration tests and maintaining a continuous integration/deployment process.

Requirements:

• Significant web development experience using modern tooling is required.
• Hands-on experience in building web applications and APIs is essential.
• Experience with PHP8 / Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js, or AWS Serverless is a plus.
• Participation in effective testing processes and a quality-driven development process is necessary.
• Experience in environments with continuous integration/deployment is required.
• Familiarity with test-driven and behavior-driven development practices is preferred.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and understanding of agility principles is important.
• Collaboration with product managers, designers, and user experience experts is a plus.
• Ability to have crucial conversations and demonstrate humility and vulnerability is essential.
• You should have examples of personal growth and the ability to stretch beyond your limits.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $123,200 - $184,800 per year, based on experience and skills.
