Description:
The Engineering Team at Loop focuses on agility, consistency, and performance to deliver value to customers.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining web applications, APIs, and lambdas for the Loop product line.
You will solve complex technical issues for merchants and partners, prioritizing exceptional user experiences.
You will contribute to solidifying engineering practices with a focus on scalability, repeatability, and reliability.
Responsibilities include developing automated unit and integration tests and maintaining a continuous integration/deployment process.
You will advocate for best practices to ensure effective scaling within the engineering team.
The role requires elevating the engineering culture at Loop by showing empathy towards teammates and supporting their growth.
You should demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of ownership over your work.
The position allows for remote work or the option to join the team in the Columbus, Ohio office.
Requirements:
Significant web development experience using modern tooling is required.
Hands-on experience in building web applications and APIs is essential.
Experience with PHP8 / Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js, or AWS Serverless is a plus.
Participation in effective testing processes and a quality-driven development process is necessary.
Experience in environments with continuous integration/deployment is required.
Familiarity with test-driven and behavior-driven development practices is preferred.
Experience working in an agile development environment and understanding of agility principles is important.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and user experience experts is a plus.
Ability to have crucial conversations and demonstrate humility and vulnerability is essential.
You should have examples of personal growth and the ability to stretch beyond your limits.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $123,200 - $184,800 per year, based on experience and skills.
