As a Software Engineer in the Planning team, you will be involved in developing the advertising platform and producing production-level code that impacts product success.
You will work with large data sets and modern tech stacks including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL.
The Planning team focuses on building a data-driven planning experience that helps users forecast campaigns accurately.
Recent projects include integrating map visualization for geographic targeting and developing new vertical-specific features.
The company is expanding its focus to support vertical strategies and investing in sales process automation to simplify workflows.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding user experience.
Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact end-to-end product experiences is required.
Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and Go is highly preferred.
Extensive experience with a test-driven approach to writing code using core full-stack technologies is necessary.
You should have experience working with relational databases and key-value stores.
Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack is essential.
An appetite for unpacking complexity and simplifying it wherever possible is expected.
Experience working on large-scale Ruby on Rails projects is required.
Familiarity with visualization libraries (graphs and maps) to render large data sets on modern web applications is necessary.
Knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.) is required.
Experience in the AdTech industry is a plus.
