Remote Software Engineer, Platform

Description:

• Vannevar Labs is seeking a Software Engineer for their Platform team to work on shared services & infrastructure for their ecosystem of defense software products.
• Responsibilities include working on data pipelines, APIs, authentication and authorization, and deploying applications to various environments, including classified regions.
• The role involves collaborating with senior engineers initially and eventually leading independent projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in a preferred programming language, knowledge of basic data structures, algorithms, and web technologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and strong communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with tech stack components like Typescript, Python, Postgres, Opensearch, Temporal, Qdrant, Docker, and AWS.
• Preference for candidates with previous security clearance and U.S. Person status due to the need to access U.S. only data systems.
