Remote Software Engineer, Platform (New Grad)

Description:

• Vannevar Labs is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform (New Grad) to join their team remotely.
• The company focuses on developing defense software to support public servants in keeping the country safe.
• The Platform team is responsible for data pipelines, APIs, authentication, authorization, and deploying applications to various environments, including classified regions.
• The role involves working on shared services and infrastructure, initially supporting senior engineers and eventually leading individual projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in a preferred programming language, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and web technologies.
• Ability to learn quickly and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with tech stack components like Typescript, Python, Postgres, Opensearch, Temporal, Qdrant, Docker, and AWS.
• Preference for candidates with previous security clearance and U.S. Person status to access U.S. only data systems.
