Description:

We are looking for a talented Prototype Engineer to join our innovation team and help shape the future of IOG products and technology.
As a prototype engineer, you will be responsible for developing prototypes, models, and simulators at the intersection of engineering and research.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, including architects, cryptographers, researchers, and engineers, to help shape innovation projects.
Your duties will include designing and developing systems from initial ideas, presenting options and solutions at team and project meetings, and maintaining ongoing communication regarding your project status on a periodic basis.

Requirements:

Proficiency in various programming languages and functional paradigms is required.
Knowledge of the Rust programming language is essential.
A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and concurrency, is necessary.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and its core concepts, such as consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and smart contracts, is required.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivating and a self-learner.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development is required.
A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, is necessary.
Experience with blockchain technology is essential.
Experience in remote work and collaboration across different time zones is required.
Experience in prototyping and developing ideas is necessary.
