Remote Software Engineer (Python) - LATAM

Description:

• The mission is to build the most complete and reliable music consumption database for clients, including record labels, music publishers, and music industry associations.
• As a software engineer, you will design and develop applications and systems to support this mission.
• The company processes over 50 million records daily from popular music streaming services, which need to be consolidated and aggregated to provide meaningful data to clients and partners.
• The role requires an experienced engineer with a track record of building and maintaining scalable and extendable applications.

• The technology stack includes Python (Flask with GraphQL), MongoDB, RabbitMQ with Celery, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer is required.
• Strong knowledge of Python is essential.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB is necessary.
• Experience in designing distributed systems, queues, caches, etc., is required.
• Knowledge of UNIX is needed.
• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• The candidate should be a great mentor and enjoy helping less experienced colleagues grow.
• Experience with Flask is a plus.
